Sulphate Reduction

Sulphate is the anion of sulphuric acid dissociated in water. Furthermore sulphuric acid is the most used chemical substance applied in industrial processes. Fields of use as raw material are manufacture of polymers, tenside, laundry detergents, fertilizer, adhesives, stabilizer, paints, fine chemicals and other intermediate materials. Sulphuric acid is also used for degreasing of surfaces, etching of metals, tans of leather; soften of glass fibres and also as electrolyte in rechargeable batteries.
